Payment of PIS is directed to private sector employees. Pasep, however, does not. It is paid to public sector employees. Both schedules have already been announced. Transfers will start from February 15th. The dates follow according to the month of the worker's birthday, in the case of PIS.

Understand salary allowance
It is an annual salary supplement aimed at improving the purchasing power of citizens with a lower income. To be entitled to the allowance, the worker must have contributed to the PIS/Pasep for at least five years consecutive years and have received an average remuneration of up to two minimum wages in the year prior to the payment.
The amount paid to beneficiaries corresponds to the number of months worked in the year 2021.
In this way, whoever was hired and received during the 12 months of 2021 will guarantee BRL 1,302. Look!

Learn how to check the PIS online
Check out the step-by-step process to check your right to PIS:
- Access the website (gov.br/pt-br/servicos/sacar-o-abono-salarial) and click on “Start”;
- Select the option “Enter with Gov.br”;
- Enter your CPF and click “Continue”;
- Enter your password and press the “Enter” button;
- On the main page of the Emprega Brasil Portal, select “Salary allowance”;
- Check that 2021 is selected as the base year, then look under the “Enabled” column to see if you are entitled to PIS 2023. If the benefit is available, the word ”Yes” will appear in the place. For more information, click on the “eye” icon that is just below the “Actions” column.
It is possible to extract benefit with the Citizen Card at lottery shops or Caixa Econômica Federal ATMs. If you have a checking or savings account, the amount may be available via Internet Banking.

Pasep can be withdrawn from a checking or savings account, if the citizen is a Banco do Brasil customer. All beneficiaries will have until December 28th to make the withdrawal.
