Tomato and orange are well-known vegetables grown in Brazil, and it is very likely that they are already part of your table. However, combining the two foods in the same drink is capable of providing large amounts of vitamins and minerals.
Tomato is a fruit that has vitamins A, C and K, several minerals and a beneficial compound called lycopene. All these nutrients act to prevent cardiovascular diseases and damage to the body.
Orange is one of the greatest sources of vitamin C, B complex vitamins and compounds known as carotenes. In this way, the combination of these substances has a strong action on the immune and respiratory systems, in protecting the eyes and against infections.
How to prepare tomato and orange juice?
The recipe for this juice has a low degree of difficulty and the time needed to prepare it does not even reach 10 minutes. Check out!
Ingredients:
- 2 very ripe tomatoes;
- 2 oranges;
- 1 small glass of water.
Method of preparation:
The first step to prepare the juice is to open the two fruits and remove the pits to avoid the bitter taste. Then extract the juice from the two oranges using a juicer.
Then, take a blender, add the orange juice, the two tomatoes, the water and beat everything for two minutes. As soon as the mixture becomes homogeneous, turn off the equipment.
If you find it necessary, sweeten with sugar, sweetener or honey. Add ice, if you prefer, and your tomato and orange juice is ready!
