vegan brigadier
Ingredients
- 5 tablespoons of chocolate powder;
- 1 liter of traditional soy milk (or other of your choice);
- 1 cup of crystal sugar tea.
Method of preparation
- Take a pan, pour the vegetable milk and sugar and mix over high heat until it boils;
- When it reaches the boil, put it on a low heat and let it cook until it reaches a caramel color;
- Always keep stirring, taking care not to burn;
- When this color is reached and it has a thicker consistency, add the chocolate powder and continue stirring;
- When you reach the brigadier point, turn off the fire and you're ready;
- You can choose to roll the brigadeiro or serve it in a spoon version.
Ideal point for brigadeiros
Cooking with low heat is ideal for forming the brigadeiro, as high heat makes the candy stick or burn in the pan. In that case, the right point is when the brigadier is ungluing from the bottom of the pan. For this, it may take 6 to 10 minutes in the pan, and the vegan version may need a few more minutes.
