The coins collectors are looking for is the commemorative production of the Rio de Janeiro Olympics. The collection features 16 commemorative coins created between 2014 and 2016 to celebrate the Olympic Games, each symbolizing an Olympic or Paralympic sport.
In addition to this collection, there is another coin associated with the 2016 Olympics: the “flag delivery coin”, which honors the passing of the Olympic flag to Rio de Janeiro during the closing of the London Games, in 2012. Because it is older and rarer, this coin is even more valuable.
The circulation of the coin for the delivery of the flag was only 2 million, and for the others, 20 million. The complete collection can cost 7 thousand reais.
