However, the case became controversial when “Momo” decided to challenge the curious to commit suicide, homicides, and made a series of threats based on the user's personal information.

However, at the beginning of the year the character returned, with a new target audience. Several parents and YouTube users are reporting that the character appears in random videos on the YouTube Kids platform, which has exclusive content aimed at children.
The complaints are that “Momo” appears in videos in the middle of the content. She gives clear instructions for children to slit their wrists, kill their siblings, commit suicide and murder.
The character's appearance has left children scared and parents worried about what the little ones are having access to on the famous video platform. However, according to a note published by YouTube, no evidence of the challenge was found on the site.

Origin of Momo
