How does Food to Save work?
Food to Save is an independent company and does not work directly with product manufacturers, but with merchants. Then, each registered partner selects the items that are close to expiring at their establishment and the company proceeds to collect them.
As for the users, Food to Save offers an easy-to-use platform for the customer to choose from the available options of “surprise bags”. Generally, there are three surprise bag options: sweet, savory and mixed. Customers only find out what's in the bag when they pick it up at points of sale or after requesting delivery.
See prices below:
- Bags worth R$30.00 cost R$10.99;

Food to Save keeps only 40% of the profit, and merchants receive 60% of the proceeds.
