The couple were on the river in the Kimberley region of northern Australia in a moment of leisure and tranquility. However, according to them, when using a bait to catch fish, the movement caught the attention of a crocodile, which changed its route and hovered around the couple's boat.
However, what could seem like a joke took on another contour. After a few minutes beside the boat, the crocodile tried to climb up to capture the bait that the couple had thrown into the water.
The situation, which gave Dyball and Bates a good scare, may have been caused by the reptile's obstinacy in capturing the food that was in the water.
The video, shared on TikTok, on the tides_katsadventures channel, already has more than 340,000 views and 15,000 likes. In it, it is possible to see the speed with which the animal slides in the water and runs after the bait.

In the comments, users express their reactions, such as the one that said “Lucky it was a small crocodile”. Another says that it is better for the couple to buy a “bigger boat”.
For someone else who commented, the way the crocodile turned its head and looked at its food before jumping on the boat reveals that the animal was not happy to have lost food for the human couple. Then she says "glad you're ok after that".
Meanwhile, others poke fun at the couple and say the crocodile at least tried and he wanted to make friends.
All care is little
The images may look funny, but you can't be too careful when hunting animals or even playing with them, in especially, crocodiles, which are fast in water and on land and are considered aggressive animals with strong bites and lethal.
In Brazil, crocodile hunting is prohibited by the Brazilian Institute of Environment and Renewable Resources (IBAMA).
