Identidade Jovem is a program created by the federal government that aims to benefit young people between the ages of 15 and 29 who are in a situation of social vulnerability in Brazil, this program belongs to the youth statute and Federal Law nº 12,852 and was launched in March 2016.

How is the payment of the Youth ID made?
In order for young people to be able to enroll and receive this benefit, they must meet certain requirements imposed by the program. Look:
- Be between 15 and 29 years old.
- Be registered in CadÚnico, with information that is always up to date and correct.
- Have Social Identification number. It is generated after enrolling in CadÚnico.
- Monthly family income of up to two minimum wages in the amount that is in force throughout the national territory.

There are a lot of young people confusing the Youth Identity with the National Student Document, but it is worth remembering that they are not the same thing. The young ID guarantees exemption from the fee generated when this document is issued. As this benefit also includes young people who are not studying or enrolled in educational institutions, it will not have the same identification value.
The Youth Identity program aims to encourage young people to have an academic and professionals, because in one way or another there is a requirement for active enrollment or some link with educational institutions. The young person must present a document with a photo to prove their identity. The accepted documents are: CPF, Identity Card, and Work Card.
