Free online contest seeks tech ideas to boost the economy

Fecomércio RJ in partnership with Sebrae RJ will promote the Hackathon Rio Empreender Criativo, a free online contest that will be held on March 25th and 26th, with the aim of developing technological solutions innovative solutions for businesses related to the creative economy, including sectors such as education, gastronomy, art and culture, among others.

During the event, participants will compete in teams of three to five members, choosing one of the creative sectors to develop a project according to the objectives presented by the organization of the event. Winners will be announced on March 30th and each winning team from each of the five creative sectors will receive free courses in remote format as a prize.

The initiative seeks to foster innovation, promote business development and economic recovery fluminense through the creative economy, which has more than 74,600 small businesses in the state of Rio de January.

Requirements

The contest is aimed at individuals aged 18 years or over and who have knowledge or experience in at least one of the areas of software development, engineering, graphic design, gastronomy, culture, among others others.

Registrations

Registration is free and individual, and can be done until March 22 on the website of the Hackathon Rio Empreender Criativo.
