It is the darling of Brazilians for messaging, so it has been undergoing several updates to make it even better and more useful for its users. Its last update, for example, was to further preserve user privacy. The feature is automatically enabled after the upgrade.
Below you can see how to check if the update is already active for you.
- Step 1: open a private conversation or group in the app. Touch the “+” icon to send media and choose “photos and videos” or just click on the camera icon, also located next to the send button;
- Step 2: select the photo from the gallery you want to upload. After loading, tap the number “1” located at the bottom right, next to the send button, to activate temporary sending. If this is your first time uploading this type of photo, a notification will appear. Confirm and tap the arrow to send;
- Step 3: when opening the single view image and trying to print or record the cell phone screen, the user will receive a warning about the block capture to preserve user privacy.
Print blocking has been added to increase the security of shared data and people's privacy. When trying to capture or record the screen of an image sent to you in temporary mode, a message appears stating that the action is not possible.
