The Hubble Space Telescope, symbol of space exploration by the American agency, NASA, turned 30 in 2020, but the festivities continue. Among the surprises that the space agency has prepared for its public for the commemorative date, one is special. Now, anyone can search for the galaxy photo taken on their birthday.

Photographs of the galaxy taken on your birthday
NASA explains that Hubble can explore the universe for 24 hours, every day of the week. This means that the telescope can observe the cosmic wonder in the galaxy, all year round.
In this way, it is possible to observe this phenomenon even on your birthday. With that, these fantastic images recorded by the equipment were made available on a new website. If you want to check it out, just go to NASA website.
To search, just enter your month and date of birth, and a photo taken that day will be shown. It is necessary to note that you cannot search for a specific year (the displayed images are selected from random years).
What is the Hubble Space Telescope?
The Hubble Space Telescope is perhaps one of the most remarkable tools in modern astronomy, orbiting outside Earth's atmosphere 593 kilometers above Earth's surface.
Furthermore, the space telescope, with an orbital period of 96 to 97 minutes and named after astronomer Edwin Hubble, was launched on April 24, 1990. That launch took place on the STS-31 mission, as part of a joint NASA and agency mission, the Grand Observatory Project.
Equipped with powerful mirrors, Hubble can acquire images with an optical resolution of 0.04 seconds arc, adding to the spatial environment without turbulence of any kind, allowing high-quality recordings quality. Cool idea, isn't it?
