Drivers caught driving on Brazilian roads without headlights on must pay a fine of up to R$130.00. In addition, this
infringement counts as 4 points on the driver's license (CNH).It is important to remember that, after 40 points, the driver loses his driver's license and needs to take the exam again to be able to circulate freely with cars.
When is it not necessary to use the headlight on?
