Poetry Day (October 31)
In Brazil, a day is set aside to honor national poetry. Until recently, the date was celebrated on March 14 in honor of one of our greatest poets, Antônio Frederico de Castro Alves, who was born on that day in 1847.
But this celebration was not formal. Thus, a legislative proposal was prepared and approved to celebrate, on the day of the birth of the poet Carlos Drummond de Andrade on October 31, the National Poetry Day.

How to make a word search educational
In order for this game to become an even greater form of learning, in addition to what it already offers for memorizing words, you can try some strategies. Here are two good suggestions:
- You can ask your student or child to separate the syllables of the words that are found, so he will learn how words are formed;
- You can also suggest that the child illustrate the words or vice versa, that he finds the words through image indications.
