For example, 10 to 30 is exactly 20 numbers, which is the same amount as 30 to 50. However, this interpretation does not make much sense, since from 50 to 10 there are 40 numbers. Also, what is the meaning of the number 90 that is in the center of the image?

As you can see, one of the triangles is complete, that is, with all the numbers on the ends identified. Thus, with a little observation, it is possible to recognize that the sum of the numerals in this triangle is precisely 90, which is the number that is in the center. That is, 10+30+50=90.
With that, we have already managed to recognize the logic that governs this riddle and which, therefore, will also apply to the second triangle, which is missing a number. In this case, we see the numerals 40 and 20. When considering that we need to reach the number 90, we will put in the blank the amount that is left.
Therefore, the number that must occupy the empty place in the triangle is precisely 30, since 40+20=60, so that there are 30 left to reach the main number. This type of exercise is very important to strengthen our logical thinking and better deal with the mathematical problems around us!
