4 best functions that WhatsApp offers you
Temporary messages
We don't pay much attention to this feature and overlook the usefulness of handling it in messaging apps. Settings can be changed which means all future messages in a given chat will be automatically deleted from your phone.
To enable this feature, go to the conversation in the app whose settings you want to change and click on the person's name or group chat at the top of the screen. Scroll down until you see the “Temporary Messages” option and click “Enable”.
Call in wait
It is possible to receive calls through the application even if you are in the middle of another call, so you can put it on hold. WhatsApp sends a notification to the user informing the type of call he is receiving (voice or video) and allowing him to choose whether or not to answer the call while it is in progress.
Group invitation
Users can now opt out of being added to groups without authorization thanks to a new group privacy setting. The function can be found in the privacy section of the application, where it offers the options “All”, “My contacts” and “My contacts except…” to select who can use it in conversations collective.
If someone without permission tries to include you in groups, the chat invite address will be sent to him by message in a private conversation, and he can choose whether or not he wants to participate in the conversation.
Reply group message in private conversation
The tool allows you to respond to specific messages sent in a group through a private chat. The “Reply privately” option is available in the message options menu. When selecting it, the user is redirected to the contact's private chat, and the message to be answered is indicated above the keyboard.
