The National Education Development Fund (FNDE) and the National School of Public Administration (Enap) announced the opening of registration for the 2nd National Education Award.
The award, which is part of the FNDE's 55th anniversary celebrations, seeks to recognize studies and research that bring significant contributions to the improvement of educational management in Brazil.

The main objective of award is to value and encourage the development of research that promote advances in the field of education.
Therefore, FNDE and Enap are looking for studies that address relevant issues and offer innovative solutions to the challenges faced by educational management in the country.
With prizes of up to R$ 10,000 for the winning articles, the award seeks to encourage studies and research on educational public policies, providing valuable subsidies to improve performance of the FNDE.
This year's theme is "Improvement of Educational Management in Brazil", and candidates must submit articles related to sub-themes such as equity in education, educational planning, social control in education, outcome indicators in education, impact assessment in education and educational innovation.
Articles must address current issues and analyze public policies at different levels, comparing international experiences with the Brazilian reality.
The award will include the five best articles, which will receive cash prizes, trophies and certificates. In addition, the selected articles will be published in electronic format.
A judging commission, composed of specialists in public policies, will be responsible for evaluation of the works and may grant honorable mentions, with certificate and publication of the works highlighted.
The president of the FNDE, Fernanda Pacobahyba, highlights the importance of the award for valuing researchesand comprehensive and inclusive studies in the field of education.
She emphasizes the importance of the collaboration of all those interested in the process of construction and reconstruction of education, inviting them to participate actively in the award.
