Breastfeeding in public becomes a hot topic in the US
Carly Clark, from South Carolina, in the United States, shocked the networks with a very controversial statement. In your Facebook, she threatened to hit the next mother she found nursing a child in public.
The publication was not well received by most Internet users, who reported it both to Facebook and to their own jobs, demanding decisions regarding her speech.
The most intriguing thing is that Carly is a mother, but she says she is totally against breastfeeding in public places. According to her, it is something “inappropriate” and “unnecessary”.

In the post, she says: "I'm sorry - the next woman who tries to show her breasts to breastfeed in front of my children will have a black eye." She completes the post with, "Get that baby out because I'm going to punch him too."
Clark argued that her words were only directed at one woman in particular, who was not publicly named, and who shows up at her workplace and breastfeeds her baby. A short time later, she herself wrote: "Do what you want, but I think it's very immature that you, as a mother, go out of your way to come to a place where you know I work and breastfeed."
Carly says she's not against breastfeeding in general, but she doesn't like it around her own children.
community resigned
Several disgruntled Facebook users have called on Petsense, the company Carly worked for, to fire her after the unacceptable statements. She was a pet caretaker and manager.
Users threatened to create a boycott against the company unless action was taken.
The company also posted a note on Facebook:
“Petsense demands the highest standards of behavior ethical and personal approach of our employees. We would absolutely never tolerate violence, as recently posted by a former Petsense employee.”
