The CEO of the e-commerce company eBay, Jamie Iannone, announced that the platform will soon accept payments with cryptocurrencies. The executive told The Street portal that, on the next 10th, there will be a meeting with its shareholders in which the novelty will be announced.
“We are just completing our transition to managing payments, where we now manage $85 billion in volume directly on our platform. This gives us the ability to open up new payment methods. On March 10th, we're going to delve deeper into all of those things, payment and advertising, which are our focus categories," said Iannone.
