Discover the secret new feature and how to access it
The new WhatsApp feature is understood to be “secret”, but there is nothing hidden in it. It's just a hidden menu that serves as a shortcut to access some of the application's functions.
To gain access, just click on the WhatsApp icon and hold it for a few seconds, this will open a window with several functions for you to access. In this way, you will be able to choose some icons to open directly.
With this hidden menu, you can access the camera, conversations, create a panel of unread messages and generate a shortcut to your best friend's conversation, without necessarily opening the app for that.
Some more features of the new version
Another new WhatsApp feature is the interaction with messages, something much requested by users and which already existed on Instagram. Now, it is possible to react to messages with hearts and other emojis, making communication much more fluid.
Also, the new voicemail player option in WhatsApp Web iOS beta has been released. Thus, the user will be able to leave the conversation and continue listening to the audio without interruption.
To access these new features, update WhatsApp from your app store. Then just open a conversation and click to listen to the audio. Thus, a player will appear above the conversation of what you are listening to, allowing you to access other pages, conversations and continue listening. A good one, isn't it?
