Project provides complete books for reading through Instagram Stories

Have you ever stopped to think how many hours a day you spend on social media? With the period of Quarantine, arising from the coronavirus, this has intensified. With that in mind, the Árvore de Livros platform has launched a new edition of Tree Stories Project.

Through the initiative, the group adapts books to be read in full through the Instagram Stories. The project is a pioneer in the country and the titles are accessible to anyone via cell phone.

Initiative aims to impact the younger audience, which already uses social networks for other types of interaction. The first book released is “O Alienista”, by Machado de Assis.

Reading through Instagram Stories

Reading via Stories is the same as reading another post on Instagram. After 24 hours of visibility, the excerpts are highlighted on the page. That means they can still be read later.

The expectation of the project is that, fortnightly, new excerpts of works are shared on the group's Instragram page.

Tree of Books

Árvores e Livros is a national edtech, launched in 2014. Its purpose is to transform education in Brazil by training new readers. Currently, the platform has a partnership with more than 600 publishers and has more than 30,000 titles available.

edtech also offers pedagogical support educators, as well as reports that make it possible to monitor the reading. All didactics are aligned with the National Common Curricular Base.

In 2019, Árvore joined Guten, a reading platform focused on current affairs. The purpose of the partnership is to develop students' reading skills and critical thinking.

The Tree of Books has already won the Top Educação award for four consecutive years. This event awards the most remembered brands among companies operating in the area. In 2019, they were finalists in EdtechX, which recognizes the most innovative startups in the world.
