For those interested in carrying out the National Examination for Certification of Youth and Adult Skills (Encceja), in 2023, the official schedule has already been duly released on January 2, by the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (inep).
O exam, which is voluntary and free of charge, is used to provide certificates to young people and adults who have not completed the Elementary School or Medium at the appropriate age. So, the dates for Encceja 2023 looked like this:
- Registrations: From May 22nd to June 2nd;
- Application of tests: August 27th;
- Official release of the gauge: August 27th;
- Official announcement of results: December 22nd.
The exam consists of four objective tests, each of which has 30 multiple-choice questions. In addition to the questions, the tests are also accompanied by an essay of up to 30 lines, in the essay-argumentative text model, the same criteria used by the
National High School Exam (And either).Thus, the content of each of the four tests in relation to Elementary Education is as follows:
- Natural Sciences;
- History and geography;
- Portuguese Language, Foreign Language, Arts, Physical Education and Writing;
- Mathematics.
For those wishing to obtain a high school certificate, the tests are as follows:
- Natural Sciences and their technologies;
- Human Sciences and their technologies;
- Languages, codes and their technologies and Writing;
- Mathematics and its technologies.
The Encceja exams are evaluated on a scale of 60 to 180, and in order to obtain the certificate, the participant must obtain at least 100 points in each of them. It is also necessary that the Writing grade be at least 5.
The certificate, when granted, is equivalent to the diploma of conclusion of the teaching stage made in the exam.
