All this problem with the bank generated a wave of customer complaints on social networks, taking Santander to the top of the most commented subjects, trending topics, from Twitter here in Brazil. Among the main complaints was that of not being able to pay the debts on time.
A user posted the following: “Santander out all day!!! Change the advertising! What can we do for you today? The basics (because y'all don't). App, website, agency all down!!! I need to pay my bills!!!”
The bank's response to its customers about the instability was that there had been an intermittence in the channels, but the real problem has not yet been revealed. In this sense, in a note, Santander stated that the systems are being reestablished. Check out:
“Santander informs that the services affected by the systemic instability that occurred on Monday, the 25th, are being gradually restored. The bank deeply regrets the inconvenience to customers, who will be reimbursed for any charges caused by unavailability.”
Bank customers who had problems with interest due to instability should contact the bank to request reimbursement.
