Ronald Hoffmann [née Roald Safran]

Polish chemist born in Zloczow, Poland, now Zolochëv, Ukraine, making mathematical rules that predicted when and where a reaction particular chemistry would result in a more stable product than the original reagents (1970), he changed the way the experiments were handled. chemical. Newman Professor of Physical Science. He shared the Nobel Prize in Chemistry (1981) with the Japanese Kenichi Fukui (1918-1998) from the University of Kyoto.
