Learn how to regularize negative CPF
Before having the CPF negative, the consumer usually receives a notification from the store or bank informing the situation. Companies also send a debt notice to credit protection entities (such as Serasa or SPC Brasil), which send a letter to the consumer, advising them that if the debt is not paid, their name will be added to a list of indebtedness.
Some people are not sure if they are already on the defaulters list. In this sense, Serasa, Boa Vista SCPC and SPC Brasil are the three most important credit protection institutions in the country. Each of them has information about certain deals. This means that even if you are consistent on one, you might be negative on another.
How to clear the name?
The first step is to check whether the debt actually proceeds. If a person has not entered into any type of contract with the company that sent their CPF to the credit restriction register, it is it is very likely that she was the victim of fraud, or that someone used her information to get credit in the Marketplace.
In this case, you must contact the company to report the occurrence and request the removal of the registration. Consumers can also contact consumer protection agencies, as well as directly contact the database manager. In addition, it is possible to file a lawsuit to request regularization as well as claim compensation for moral damages.
When a person recognizes a debt, however, he must negotiate payment with the company so that the debt is settled. If the debt is being paid in installments, the CPF from the register must be withdrawn as soon as the first installment is paid.
