Barbecue at 4 different US locations
South Carolina
South Carolina is quite famous, and one of the reasons for this fame is its traditional whole pork barbecue, served with a variety of sauces, including a North Carolina-like vinegar-based sauce, a roasted tomato sauce, a light tomato sauce, and a mustard sauce (also known as Carolina Gold).
Also, due to the regional affinity for this sauce, most people in the south of the state know this sauce by the name of “mustard belt” (free translation, Mustard Belt).

Central Texas is perhaps best known for the brisket smoked over oak and served without sauce, either in slices or just on the sandwich. The pork ribs are a very popular part as well.
There are also the well-known hot sausages (hot gut sausages), which are spicy sausages with plenty of black pepper, they complete the so-called Texas BBQ Trio. In South Texas, you'll find more mesquite smoked barbecue, while East Texas is known for its pork and ground beef sandwiches.
North Caroline
To understand North Carolina barbecue, it's important to divide the state in half. Heading east, you'll find the whole smoked pork (in the smoker), while in the west, the Lexington-style barbecue, which only smokes the shoulders of the animal.
East side barbecue is served shredded with a vinaigrette sauce, while Lexington (west) style is often served on a sandwich with a tomato-based sauce.
memphis
This is the famous pork place, where the dry smoked and wet pigs: the rib is soaked and then smoked to provide a delicious experience, while the pork is covered with a rub before smoking.
In addition, this state is also home to one of the most famous barbecue competitions in the country, the Memphis in May BarbecueCooking Contest, which happens every year, always in the month of May.
