For women who are interested in working with schedule, Santander Universities opened, earlier this week, registration for the 10,000 scholarships of the Code Girls 2022 program.
The program is part of the #PraTodasElas campaign, whose objective is to increase the presence of women in areas with a predominance of men. With the scholarships, the women will be able to learn from the basics to the advanced level of Back-end development with Java and Spring.

The project is born from the partnership between Santander Universities and F1RST, which is a startup that is part of Santander, maintaining the bank's digital ecosystem.
And great news for those interested in participating! In addition to the scholarships, the 200 women who had the best performance in the project will be interviewed, and 20 of them will already be employed, working at the company F1RST as technology analysts.
The 20 selected will also receive specific training and additional training as an Agile coach and Data Analyst. In addition, they will spend three months improving the Pega language, which is a tool used by Santander.
“Regardless of being hired by F1RST, all the women who go through the training and dedicate themselves in fact, will be able to seek opportunities in an area that has growing demand and is lacking in skilled labor", said the executive superintendent of Santander Universidade, Nicolas Vergara.
