January 25th is considered the anniversary of the city of São Paulo, and, for this reason, several establishments are mobilizing to pay their own homage to the capital.
Known as the gastronomic tradition of the city, with several mortadella sandwiches sold at various points, such as the Municipal Market, Subway entered into a partnership with Perdigão to create Sub Mortadela and pay homage to the 469th anniversary of the foundation of São Paul.
In the chain's entire history, this is the first time that a mortadella sandwich has been launched. To complete the delicacy, the Subway sandwich will be served with mozzarella cheese and special sauce, available at the customer's choice.
Expected to be available to the public from January 23rd, the Subway sandwich will only be sold in the city of São Paulo and for a limited time. The value for the 15 cm sandwich is R$16.50, while the 30 cm sandwich will cost R$28.50.

Subway's unprecedented initiative is just one more among the many celebrations scheduled to take place in the city of São Paulo, between the 21st and 29th of January.
With concerts, exhibitions and other cultural manifestations, the mayor of São Paulo claims that the city is the stage for meetings of the country and the world, with several different cultures and opportunities for everyone.
In Vale do Anhangabaú, the anniversary will be led by concerts by bands from all over Brazil, such as Belo, João Gomes, Dona Onete and Gaby Amarantos, Dexter, Nando Reis, Maria Gadú and other artists.
