Shopee operations are closed in some countries

After-sales services and support will continue to be available until October 31st for all users who have made purchases on our platform.”

In the statement made available to the public in Mexico, we saw that the end of operations was expected to end at 8 pm. “Please note that domestic sellers will no longer be available on Shopee from September 8, 2022, 8pm onwards. All existing orders from domestic sellers will be delivered normally.”

It is also important to highlight that Shopee's chief executive, Chris Feng, told employees that because of this current very high macroeconomic uncertainty, the company would be focusing its resources on its main operations, which led to decision to maintain operations only in the three countries mentioned.
