Walnut brigadeiro recipe with apricot in a cup
This recipe is not laborious at all, but the final finish is super chic and it will look like you dedicated hours to its preparation. In addition, the taste of this delicacy is surprising and you will definitely get compliments from those who taste it.
The yield for this recipe is 15 servings, but you can adjust the amount of ingredients more or less, depending on how many people are eating. As for prep time, you'll need about an hour and a half in total. Without further ado, see below how to prepare this wonder.
Ingredients and method of preparation – Brigadeiro
- 1 can of full condensed milk;
- 200 g of crushed walnuts;
- 1 tablespoon butter (preferably unsalted)
Take a pan, preferably non-stick, put the butter to melt and then add the condensed milk and nuts. As you may have noticed, this recipe does not include chocolate. Stir with a spoon until it comes to a boil. After that, put the brigadeiro in party cups and wait to cool down while you make the jelly.
Ingredients and method of preparation – Apricot jam
- 3000 g of apricots;
- 1 cup (tea) of refined type sugar;
- ½ liter of water.
First, take a pot, put the apricots and water and let it hydrate for at least 1 hour and a half (so this should be the first step in your nut brigadeiro preparation). Then, drain the water and put the apricot in a blender or mixer and beat for a few minutes until it is well crushed.
Take a pan to the low fire, put the sugar to melt until it reaches the point of a clear caramel. Soon after, add the crushed apricots and mix well for about ten minutes, until everything is well incorporated and with the typical jelly texture. When you get to the point, remove the jelly from the fire and distribute it over the cups with the brigadeiro.
