Last Monday, the 20th, Caixa Econômica Federal, responsible for transferring Bolsa Família, released an additional R$ 150 to beneficiaries. The Federal Government reported that there were more than 1 million irregular registrations in the social program, which were excluded to make room for people who are entitled. New Bolsa Família supplement will be paid in March
The new addition to the program arrived with the reformulation of the Bolsa Família presented by the Federal Government at the beginning of March. As of this Monday (20th), therefore, beneficiaries of the NIS (Social Registration Number) ending in 1 will receive, for the first time, an additional R$ 150.
Those with children up to six years old receive the additional to the fixed amount. With the new enrollments in the program, around 335,700 families have children up to the age allowed to receive the R$ 150 increase. The government register confirms that 8.9 million children from zero to six years of age will have access to the additional benefit.
