Answer to the illusion
According to the owner of the publication, the shadow present in the image does not belong to the kitten, but to the phone of someone who took a photo. Still, other users joined in the fun and even started to bring explanations from beyond: “Cats are divine beings – ancient Egyptians”, said AshTriton. In other comments, other people have tried to make it a little clearer for those who still don't understand the correct perspective.
“If you cover up the shadow and just look at the cat on the couch, the cat looks more normal. Like it's just a kitten lying on a couch and not a cat floating into oblivion being pulled by a UFO lol," commented YourMama. Suchap1 1 added “No, it's floating”.
the optical illusions
Illustrations of optical illusions are quite old, but they are becoming more and more popular on social media. According to experts, these images and some theories indicate that they were already used by Greek philosophers in the 5th century BC. W. For Plato, they depended on the senses and the mind. Thus, some colors, shades and perspectives help the brain to understand what it is seeing, causing it to form an “opinion” based on these characteristics, which can end up being misleading.
