Thoroughly wash the bowl that your dog uses. Ants like leftover food, so don't leave any leftovers available to them. Also, clean the space where the dog feeds. Remove all feed residues and wipe the area with a damp cloth to ensure cleanliness.

This alternative works in the same way as it is popularly known to drive ants away from the sugar bowl. So, get a pot bigger than the feed bowl, put water in it, then place the feed pot on top. In this way there will be a kind of protection barrier against the approach of ants.

Baking soda works for a thousand and one uses. Among them, it serves as a natural repellent against ants. Spread a little at strategic points, such as cracks and windows, especially in places close to the space where the dog feeds.

5. Vinegar to scare away ants

After cleaning the floor, prepare a solution with a 1:1 ratio (one measure of water to one measure of vinegar). For example, 100 ml of water and 100 ml of vinegar. Put the mixture in a spray bottle and spray it on the floor, especially where the pet usually eats. With that the ants will stay far away!
