Chocolate chip cookies recipe
Ingredients:
Separate the following ingredients to prepare 10 homemade cookies:
- ½ cup (tea) melted butter;
- ½ cup (tea) brown sugar;
- 3 tablespoons of sugar;
- ½ spoon (tea) of baking powder;
- 1 cup (tea) baking powder;
- 1 egg;
- ½ spoon (tea) of vanilla essence;
- 100 g of Milk Chocolate Drops.
Remembering that you can exchange the milk chocolate drops for dark chocolate, to reduce sugar for health reasons or preference. Another tip is to add 4 tablespoons of chopped chestnuts to increase your dough and give it a special touch. It is also delicious!
Method of preparation:
With the ingredients at hand, choose a large bowl where you can make the dough. Start by mixing the butter, sugar, brown sugar, egg and vanilla extract. And pay attention, because it is important to stir well until the dough is at a creamy point. Then add the wheat flour, baking powder and chocolate drops.
Soon after, take this mixture to the fridge and let it rest for 10 minutes. This will make handling the dough easier. After removing from the fridge, shape the cookies with the help of two spoons, in the shape of balls, which when baking will melt and stay in the traditional format.
Finally, place the cookies on a greased baking sheet and add a few drops of chocolate on top, leaving space between each ball. Take it to the oven, which should be at an average temperature of 180°C, for about 12 minutes or until they are golden on the sides. And it's done! Don't worry if the dough is still soft when you remove it from the oven, as it will become more consistent when it cools down.
