Expansion of the Uber Moto service
Uber announced last Monday, 07, that Uber Moto started to serve 38 more cities in Brazil. Although the service is already present in a large part of ABC Paulista, some municipalities in the interior of São Paulo still did not have access to the function.
So, Uber Moto has just arrived in cities like Búzios (RJ), Cabo Frio (RJ), Joinville (SC), Juiz de Fora (MG), Limeira (SP) and Piracicaba (SP). It is possible to access the service in the same way as the other categories, and motorcycle prices compete with Uber X values.
In addition, with Uber Moto you can also share your journey with family and friends. The platform's recommendations for users and drivers are that both clean their hands and motorcycle surfaces with 70% alcohol gel.
Furthermore, passengers are advised to have their own helmets. Thus, Uber Moto is mainly used to make shorter connections, such as moving to bus terminals and subway stations.
There is a requirement for those who want to register in the application in order to become a driver of the modality. Thus, the driver needs to have a National Driver's License (CNH) with the warning "Exerce Remunerated Activity" (EAR).
Finally, people who are already registered as couriers on Uber Eats can also join the Uber Moto category, as long as they use motorcycles for transportation.
