The Unified Selection System (Sisu) for the first half of 2023 set a registration record with 1,073,024 students registered by CPF. The deadline for registrations was until 23:59 this Friday (24th), but the final number of registrations, which include up to two course options per student, reached the mark of 2,062,815.
Students from the Northeast were the ones who signed up the most, corresponding to 40.1% of total enrollments. Then came the Southeast (33.8%), South (9.5%), North (8.8%) and Midwest (7.8%) regions.

The Sisu 2023 edition surpassed the number of subscribers of the previous edition of the same period, which registered 1,054,474 registrations. Now, students await the result that will be released on Tuesday (28).
Sisu is a student selection system for vacancies in public universities across the country, and is open to those who have taken the National High School Examination (Enem). The first edition of Sisu 2023 offered more than 226,000 vacancies in 128 participating public institutions, of which 63 are federal universities. The deadline for expressing interest in the waiting list will be from February 28th to March 8th, according to the announcement that governs the current selection process.
