To ensure participation in this event, interested parties will have the option of booking for free via the internet or using the service totems present at the Poupatempo posts.
It is important to note that this action is directed at drivers who need to regularize their documentation by the end of this month.
Through this joint effort, the aim is to facilitate the CNH renewal process, providing a quick and convenient solution for drivers.
Driver's License Renewal
Between January and May of this year, other joint efforts were carried out, totaling approximately 93,000 assistances. According to the Detran-SP, in 2023 alone, more than 3 million São Paulo drivers have already sought the agency to renew their CNHs.
It is essential to emphasize that the renewal of the CNH must be carried out within a maximum period of 30 days after the expiration date, in order to avoid fines and other penalties provided for by the Brazilian Traffic Code (CTB).
It is important to note that the National Traffic Council (Contran) extended the renewal period of the Portfolios due in October 2020, taking into account the impacts of the Covid-19.
For this reason, many drivers who are currently in this situation have the possibility to regularize their documentation until the end of June.
To facilitate the CNH renewal process, the driver has the option of carrying out the simplified renewal through the channels provided by Poupatempo or by Detran-SP.
It is necessary to follow the instructions provided in the online service, as well as to undergo a medical examination at the indicated clinic. Scheduling will be available through these channels:
