Having updated data, vulnerable Brazilian families ensure that benefit payments are not interrupted. Today, millions of citizens receive the amounts that are paid monthly by the Union.
In cases where the Government finds some inconsistency in user information, such as, for example, incorrect address or number of family members, there is the possibility of having the benefit canceled.
However, it is very important to highlight that not all beneficiary families must update the information registered in CadÚnico. This is because the Ministry of Citizenship is sending notifications to those who need to carry out checks and updates on their registration.
According to the information in the folder, the families being called are those that last updated in 2016 or 2017. For the next few years, other beneficiaries who receive aid will be asked to go through this procedure.
Finally, the CadÚnico needs to be updated every two years to maintain the payment of benefits. It is worth noting, therefore, that the family needs to undergo the procedure in cases where a new member is born, change of address, death of a family member, reduction or increase in family income and change of school unit for children and teenagers.
