Check out all about the technology for rejuvenating and extending human life

According to research done by Rejuvenate Bio, a technology was developed that claims to extend the life of rodents by 7%. For them, the study was successful and the reprogramming of the mice's genes made them live about 18 days longer.

For Vittorio Sebastiano, professor at Standford University, this test should not be applied to humans. However, for Noah Davidsohn, scientific director of Rejuvenate Bio, this technology can indeed be used in people.

In addition to Rejuvenate Bio, another company is also looking for options for the “cure” of death. This is biotechnology startup Altos Labs, in which Jeff Bezos invested about US$ 3 billion to live longer. Like Rejuvenate Bio, the company has also been working on cellular rejuvenation to reverse diseases and, therefore, the aging.

The biggest concern is that this technology causes cancer in mice and, possibly, would happen in humans. In addition, for people to have access to this type of treatment, the investment would have to be very high.

In this way, it is clear that only the richest will have the opportunity to prolong their lives, which, then, would give them a chance to get even richer, as they could accumulate riches over their lifetime borrowed. This scenario could even widen the gap between rich and poor.
