Russell Jones the Rapper ODB

American-born rapper artist, founder of the Wu-Tang Clan group, known for his unbridled lifestyle. The singer became known in front of the Wu-Tang Clan, in the early 90's, before embarking on a solo career. The musician became famous for his unorthodox musical style and his scandalous rhythm of life and his frequent problems with the law, and was even imprisoned for drug problems.
Among other extravagances, he made an unexpected appearance during the Grammy Awards performance when singer Shawn Colvin was receiving an award (1998). He later apologized but complained that he had spent a lot of money on the clothes he was wearing and he thought he would be awarded the best rap album, a title that ended up being awarded to Puff Daddy. That same year, he was shot after a robbery of his apartment and three years later (2001) was sentenced to two to four years in prison for drug possession.
In Freedom (2003), she had signed a contract with Roc-a-Fella and was in the Manhattan studio when she began to complain of chest pains before losing consciousness. Also known as Old Dirty Bastard or Dirty McGirt, the founder of the Wu-Tang Clan group, whose biggest success was Got Your Money (1999), has died two days before his 36th birthday (11/14/2004), in a recording studio in New York, as reported by his label, Roc-a-Fella Records.
