PIS/Pasep 2020 can still be withdrawn

If you haven't yet withdrawn the salary allowance from the PIS/Pasep base year 2020, know that there is still time! Last year, around 399,975 people did not receive the benefit, according to data from the Ministry of Labor.

In total, 120,947 workers did not withdraw the PIS and 279,028 did not withdraw the Pasep. These numbers represent less than 1% of those who were entitled to PIS and 10% of those who could withdraw the Pasep allowance.

After all, how to request PIS/Pasep late?

To request the PIS/Pasep allowance for the base year of 2020, simply file an administrative appeal with the Ministry of Labor. This can be done in person, over the phone or online. After making the request, the body has up to 30 days to analyze the case and issue an opinion.

If the amount is released, it becomes available for withdrawal in the month following the release. Check out how to get in touch.
