Homemade mixture recipe to degrease tiles
- First, we have a recipe made from vinegar with lemon that helps a lot in cleaning our tiles. These products together are able to soften the crust that forms and remove it from the wall easily and without damaging the stone.
- First mix one cup of white vinegar and one cup of lemon juice until smooth. Then put this mixture in a spray bottle for easy use.
- Once ready, apply to the surface where it is greasy and use a dishwashing sponge on the soft side to scrub. Do this until the fat is completely released.
- Finally, use cold water to finish.
use in grout
If your grout is too greasy, spray the recipe and let it soak for ten minutes. Soon after, with a toothbrush, rub the region and use the sponge to finish.
In the case of grout, due to its porosity, it is more difficult to remove. If not, replace the lemon with baking soda and repeat the procedure.
Finally, use cold water to finish
yellowed tiles
If the tiles are yellow, use bleach mixed with water in a 1 to 3 ratio.
Also use a spray bottle and apply, soaking for 30 minutes. Right after that period, scrub with the sponge on the soft side and wash with cold water. However, for this recipe, it is recommended to use gloves and masks, as bleach is harmful to health.
