According to the Federal Government, the PIS/Pasep withdrawal is available to workers who fall within certain rules.

The PIS (Social Integration Program) and Pasep (Public Servant Asset Formation Program) are tax contributions for workers of private companies and public bodies. O salary allowance is passed on annually to formal workers who fit within some proposed rules, and the amount passed on can vary, without exceeding a minimum wage.

Check out the rules that will allow you to withdraw the benefit:

  • Have worked with a formal contract for at least 30 days in the base year of payment;
  • Be enrolled for at least 5 years in the PIS/Pasep or in the CNIS (National Register of Social Information);
  • Contribute to PIS/Pasep and earn, on average, up to two minimum wages.

How are PIS/Pasep calculations made?

To know the amount to be received, the worker needs to divide the minimum wage into 12 times (referring to the months of the year) and then multiply by the number of months worked. Check the calculation below:

  • 1 month worked in the base year: BRL 110;
  • 2 months worked in the base year: BRL 220;
  • 3 months worked in the base year: BRL 330;
  • 4 months worked in the base year: BRL 440;
  • 5 months worked in the base year: BRL 550;
  • 6 months worked in the base year: BRL 660;
  • 7 months worked in the base year: BRL 770;
  • 8 months worked in the base year: BRL 880;
  • 9 months worked in the base year: BRL 990;
  • 10 months worked in the base year: BRL 1,100;
  • 11 months worked in the base year: BRL 1,210;
  • 12 months worked in the base year: BRL 1,320.

PIS

Workers registered with the PIS are paid by Caixa Econômica Federal. Payment works according to the month of birth of the worker:

  • January and February: 02/15/2023 - 12/28/2023
  • March and April: 03/15/2023 - 12/28/2023
  • May and June: 04/17/2023 - 12/28/2023
  • July and August: 05/15/2023 - 12/28/2023
  • September and October: 06/15/2023 - 12/28/2023
  • November and December: 07/17/2023 - 12/28/2023

Workers of public companies are paid by Banco do Brasil, working in order of registration.

0 - 02/15/2023 to 12/28/2023;
1 - 03/15/2023 to 12/28/2023;
2 - 04/17/2023 to 12/28/2023;
