O gadget it is very small, with 90 millimeters in diameter, and uses a thermal sensor, which in turn activates a pump which is responsible for sending the urine to a test cartridge, thus being able to detect biomarkers immediately.
The collected data is transmitted via Wi-Fi to the company's application, with each cartridge (or test capsule) having more than 100 biomarker results. At launch, two test cartridges will be available, namely Cycle Sync and Nutri Balance, that act in the monitoring of creatinine, specific gravity (urine concentration), ketones, pH, albumin It is
vitamin C, among other factors. After analyzing the biomarkers, the collected urine is discarded in a waste outlet, and the device uses the water from the discharge itself to clean it.
Launch
The device arrives in Europe in the second quarter of 2023, with the starting price of 499.95 euros, which is equivalent to approximately R$ 2,900, currently.
In addition to the aforementioned functionality, the device was designed to be completely customizable, providing data innovative ways to track clinical trials, remote patient monitoring and medical research, said the company.
With a battery that can last up to three months, the same period as the cartridge, the device can be charged via USB-C and comes with a pair of gloves, avoiding contact with urine and possible contamination.
This groundbreaking invention was created to be an at-home solution that provides healthcare professionals with accurate data and regular, through constant urine analysis, which helps in remote treatments, as claimed by the company.
