This data is part of the Business Map Bulletin for the 1st Quadrimester of 2022, which was released by the Ministry of Economy on June 6. In this sense, it is important to emphasize that this map works as a type of indicator on the quantity of companies being registered in Brazil and the average time it takes to register and open them.

Thus, according to the document, Sergipe was the federation unit that managed to present the shortest time for opening a business in this first quarter of 2022, being around 15 hours, a significant drop of 9 hours (approximately 37% of the time) in relation to the last quarter of 2021. On the other hand, Bahia recorded the longest time required, around 3 days and 17 hours of time.

In addition, the bulletin also highlights Aracaju (SE), which obtained the title of the most agile city in opening a company among all capitals, with an average time of 8 hours. In this perspective, at the other extreme, Salvador (BA) had a performance well below the standard, making a comparison with other capitals, with an average time of 4 days and 18 hours to open a business. "The data demonstrate the assertiveness of the measures to simplify and improve the business environment implemented over the last few years", said the technicians of the Economy.
