1. Who can receive PIS?
The person who:
- Received on average 2 minimum wages;
- Performed paid activity for at least 30 days in the base year;
- I had been enrolled in the PIS/Pasep for at least 5 years, that year;
- Has a signed portfolio;
- It has data updated by the employer in the Annual Social Information List (RAIS).
2. Difference between PIS and Pasep
The PIS is intended for workers in the private sector. It is possible to find out who is entitled through the Caixa Trabalhador app, Caixa's website and Caixa's customer service telephone number (0800 726 0207).
Pasep, on the other hand, is intended for public servants. It is possible to know who will receive the benefit through the Banco do Brasil service telephones:
- Capitals and metropolitan regions: 4004-0001

- Hearing impaired: 0800 729 0088
3. How to withdraw the value?
In the case of workers in private companies, it is possible to withdraw PIS at Caixa branches Federal Economy (Required documents: Identity Card and Citizen's Card) or at ATMs and lottery.
As for public servants, it is possible to withdraw the Pasep at Banco do Brasil branches (Required documents: Identity Card) or by automatic transfer to the account of those who are bank customers.
