Projects and actions aimed at tax education in Brazil can now be entered in this year's edition of the National Tax Education Award.
The National Association of State Tax Tax Associations (Febrafite) informs that the registration process will be available until June 30.

The award is a partnership between the association and the Ministry of Education (MEC) and its objective is to encourage actions that encourage debate on the social function of taxes, in addition to the proper application of money public.
With this, the initiative also encourages guidance on the quality of investments and the assessment of tax returns for the population.
In addition, the National Tax Education Award aims to encourage citizens to adopt practices that lead to the improvement of the State's social and fiscal control instruments.
This happens through tax education activities such as the production of apps information technology, including games that facilitate the assimilation of this knowledge, as pointed out in official website of the Federal Government.
Available categories, awards and how to apply
According to the information disclosed, interested parties will be able to register in four categories in this year's edition of the event:
- Schools;
- Institutions;
- Press;
- Technology.
Registered projects will compete for a total prize of R$ 60,000, which will be divided into cash bonuses ranging from R$ 3,000 to R$ 10,000.
“Projects on tax education developed by federated entities may compete; public bodies or private companies; schools and universities public or private; legal entities, journalists, communication professionals and other individuals and professionals in the area of information technology”, says the MEC Communication Office.
As previously mentioned, the National Tax Education Award receives registrations until June 30th exclusively via the internet, through its official site.
