Digital Workbook and its benefits
The Covid-19 pandemic led to the expansion of remote services and this directly affected the growth of the Digital Work Card. To get an idea, just in 2020 – the year the pandemic started – the Digital Wallet had 270 million hits. The electronic version of the Work Card, like the original, brings together all employment contracts, both old and new, and their respective notes - in relation to salary, vacation registration, thirteenth payment, contractual revisions, events related to the history of the worker.
Are there any differences from the physical document?
For the employer, the only difference in the use of this Digital document by its employee, only changes in relation to the way the notes will be placed. The employer will need to make these notes through e-Social, which also helps to reduce bureaucracy. Such annotations can be inserted after typing only the employee's CPF and 48 hours after the annotation was added, it will already appear in the Digital Work Card.
