Why is it important to clean the cart?
Babies are very sensitive and are more exposed to germs on surfaces. The objects used by the children themselves are left with a certain accumulation of dirt and bacteria that are harmful to them. thus, keeping the stroller clean means being safe and ensuring an even healthier and cleaner environment for your child's growth.
Therefore, it is important to always clean your baby's stroller and disinfect it, thus eliminating bacteria, microorganisms capable of causing disease and even preventing future respiratory problems, mainly due to mites. In addition, it is important to remove bad odors and increase the equipment's durability.
Step by step to sanitize
To wash the stroller, you will need:
- Soap;
- Water;
- 70% alcohol%;
- Softener;
- loofah;
- Sprayer;
- Cloth.
First, disassemble the cart and remove all the parts, separating the fabric parts. Afterwards, follow the normal baby clothes washing process and put the cloth materials in the machine. Now, add the neutral liquid soap and choose a good fabric softener, both dermatologically tested and suitable for babies.
Then, if your structural support is made of plastic and metal, use water and neutral soap, scrubbing with a sponge carefully and finish this step spraying a mixture of 250ml of alcohol and 500ml of water. Now, assemble the cart again and, if you don't have a dryer, carry out the procedure with the components still wet.
Finally, if it's still wet, let it dry freely in the sun. So now just follow these steps every 2 months, or whenever you feel the need for a deeper cleaning. Also, if you want and have availability, buy a second stroller kit. This way, while one goes through the washing process, the other takes its place.
