Expert shares tips to improve your workout at home
Doctor Layron Alves revealed four essential tips to improve your workouts at home. Check it out below:
Perform pre-workout warm-up
The doctor explains that a warm-up of at least 10 minutes can prevent you from feeling pain and is still able to increase your performance. According to him, a good warm-up serves to adapt the body to the physical stimulus it will receive and is capable of reducing the risk of injury and increasing our strength and endurance.
Respect your physical limit
Just like in a gym, it is essential to respect your physical limits. If you are at a standstill, sedentary, or still not used to training with intensity, the doctor advises you to take it easy. Know when it's time to stop, after all, it's not pushing your limit in a day that will bring you results, but constancy.
Do food reeducation
To draw up a balanced diet for yourself, you need to consult a nutritionist. But the doctor emphasizes the importance of consuming foods that have protein, calcium and vitamins. It is also worth investing in correct hydration and respecting rest between exercises and after training.
adapt your home
If you want your home to act as a gym, you need to choose a room dedicated to exercise. The process of preparing a new environment every time you go to work out can be exhausting and lead to exercise avoidance. So determine a suitable place, stocked with weights, mats, benches, bars, bands and whatever equipment you need.
