The benefits of travel for human life
According to a study published in Nature Human Behaviour, as long as there is no difference between time zones, traveling is good for sleep. Thus, researchers from the United States and Denmark sought to investigate the quality of sleep of those who travel frequently.
The study carried out launched electronic devices that tracked the sleep of several people. Thus, data were collected from 20,000 travelers from 121 countries. Thus, the research investigated different sleep patterns of the participants while passing through different locations. The researchers then concluded that traveling directly interfered with the quality of sleep of these people, helping them to balance the number of hours they slept.
The benefits of better sleep
Sleeping too little can cause serious health problems. According to the Brazilian Sleep Society, adults should sleep, on average, seven to eight hours a night.
Thus, keeping a balanced sleep schedule is extremely important to have a good quality of life. Having less than six hours of sleep at night can cause stress, lower immunity and increase the chances of developing cardiovascular problems.
Even if it's possible to balance sleep over the weekend, it's important to have an organized routine so that sleeping well can become a habit, not something rare. You need to take care of yourself and improve your quality of life with peaceful nights sleep.
